Ibiza, information about the way to and from the airport

The third-largest island in the Balearics is a favourite destination for hedonists, dropouts, romantics and party-goers. Famous for its white architecture and unrivalled night life, whether in San Antonio or on Playa del Bossa, the island offers hustle and bustle round the clock. But there are still lonesome bays and idyllic villages to see. Broad sandy beaches, picturesque cliffs, clear water and unhurried restaurants invite you to sit back and relax. Car:

The airport is 7.5 km south-west of the city in the San José district. Take the Carretera PM-801 (Ibiza-Aeropuerto) or Carretera PM-803 (Ibiza-San José) and follow signs to the airport.

Bus:

Bus stops are next to the terminal. Journey time to the centre is around 30 minutes.

Taxi:

Journey time to the centre is around 20 minutes, to San Antonio around 30 minutes and to Santa Eulalia around 40 minutes. There are fixed fares for journeys outside built-up areas. Ask the driver to show you a fare list, which you can also normally find at the taxi rank.

Hire cars:

There are centrally-located Sixt and Avis rental locations at all Germanwings destinations. Reserve a car here and get great bargains.

Ibiza Airport is c. 7lm from Evissa, the island capital. The information desk is open from May to October around the clock and from November to April from 07:00 to 00:00.

Parking:

There are over 500 parking spaces at the airport. The first half hour is free.
